AI Content Pipeline

A publishing workflow for teams that need more drafts without lowering the bar for editing.

AI Content Pipeline

Challenge

The client knew what they wanted to publish, but every article involved too many handoffs: research, outline, draft, SEO check, edits, metadata, upload notes.

Solution

I split the workflow into small steps. One part prepares the brief, one drafts, one checks coverage, and one packages the article for a human editor.

Outcome

The team can move faster without pretending AI should publish on its own. Editors still make the calls, but they start further ahead.

Workflow

How the agent does the work.

  1. 01

Turn keyword and audience notes into structured content briefs.

  2. 02

Generate article drafts with section-level instructions.

  3. 03

Score drafts for coverage, search intent, and readability.

  4. 04

Prepare final copy, metadata, and publication checklist.

Build pattern

What changes when this becomes software.

This is a representative build pattern, not a claim about one private client result.

Before

The client knew what they wanted to publish, but every article involved too many handoffs: research, outline, draft, SEO check, edits, metadata, upload notes.

After

The team can move faster without pretending AI should publish on its own. Editors still make the calls, but they start further ahead.

The agent handles

  • Turn keyword and audience notes into structured content briefs.
  • Generate article drafts with section-level instructions.
  • Score drafts for coverage, search intent, and readability.

Humans stay in control

  • Approve sensitive actions before they leave the system
  • Review low-confidence or unusual cases
  • Adjust rules when the workflow changes

Likely tools

Guardrails

  • Keep irreversible or sensitive steps behind approval.
  • Log the inputs, output, and reason for each important decision.
  • Route low-confidence work to a person instead of forcing automation.

Success signals

  • Editors start with structured drafts
  • SEO checks happen before publishing
  • More articles reach review without extra handoffs
